Strange Girl...

Strange Girl had fallen from grace
Lowered her voice and covered her face
"I can't live, with this Strange Disease
Only in death I might find peace"

A voice said think, of what it seems
And travel to the land of dreams
There you might find answer
To this illness worse than cancer…

So Strange Girl went on, just to wake up
Somewhere between the bottom and top
Where do you come from? What do you want?
What makes you travel through this Land?

The girl got up and raised her voice
"I went here because I have no choice
Brought here by the beat of a heart
That falters, will fall apart…"

A man came forward, examined her well
"The Strange Disease, as far I can tell…"
He touched her skin and smelled her breath
Strange Girl is close to death…

"Don't you remember how you used
To enjoy me messing with your head
Being my love, my slave, my pet?"
The words the man then softly said…

Strange Girl gave him answer
"Don't doubt I do remember
But Disease has planted itself inside
Turning back what was done right."

"Strange Girl, don't you know
Chemical litter is just for show
Your heart still belongs to me
It never stops beating can't you see?"

"But my heart, my heart it falters…
And who I am still alters…"
Strange Girl hissed in pain
"Those who live just go insane"

And she fell down in his arms
The man whose love just harms
And whose pain is pleasure
He knew well, for sure

She would die if nothing
Stopped her heart from rotting
Inside her, something grew
The Strange Disease, he knew…
